Home at Last, Home at Last

Well, it only took 5 weeks and 2 days of doctoring, but Yertle is home at last and ready for a new adventure. She had her entire plumbing system revamped — new water lines, new hot water heater and tank, new kitchen and bath faucets, new toilet seals. On top of that, she had her refrigerator door adjusted, her main entrance door adjusted, and a new umbilical cord installed. Plus, she got washed up and liquid waxed. Yep, she’s raring to go. Her next adventure is a weekend camping trip to Steamboat Lake State Park on the west side of the continental divide in north central Colorado where her parents will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary. Whoohoo, folks, breakout the champaign and cigars and stay tuned to more Airstreaming with Yertle!

Have fun at Steamboat Lake. It’s been a few years since we were last there and my header shot was taken there while camped on the peninsula. Beautiful place.

Well, you’re right, Ingrid, Steamboat Lake is beautiful, and so is nearby Pearl Lake, which is gorgeous too.
